MGM Las Vegas is going to host a big fight between two welterweights on Saturday. Kell Brook, 34 years old, and Terence Crawford, 33, will lock horns in Las Vegas this weekend for the WBO welterweight belt. The fight may be less predictable than expected, and Brook has already made few big statements about the incoming bout.

Terence Crawford has not been in the ring for a long period as his last fight took place last December when he won by TKO against Egidijus Kavaliauskas in the 9th round. Though he will have some ring rust, Terence Crawford is a lethal weapon and, definitely, he is not the sort of boxer you mess around with. Crawford cannot be underestimated, never: he is deadly, dangerous, and, most of all, he is a master at taking control of the ring.

Recently, Kell Brook remarked to the press to be confident that he does not worry about Crawford switching his boxing stance from southpaw to orthodox. According to the British fighter, this does not work against him and it is just a waste of time strategy. Brook warned Crawford of a “rude awakening” after Crawford has made a list of fighters, he wants to compete against without mentioning Brook’s name.

Brook added also that his size, power, and speed which may be too difficult to handle in the ring and Terence Crawford will be stopped in the ring or on stool. As mentioned before, we believe that this bout for Crawford would not be as easy as it looks but we still consider Terence Crawford to be the favorite… by far. Statistically, Brook is a very clear underdog in the fight.

However, someone else has an opposite view. Former light welterweight champion, Amir Khan, believes that Brook can defeat the unbeaten Crawford and end his reign in the welterweight division. In a recent interview, Amir Khan said that it would not be a surprise if Crawford gets defeated by Kell Brook. Let’s see but we hardly see this happening.
