Cristiano Ronaldo has tested Positive to Covid-19

After the rape case in Las Vegas, another problem is affecting Cristiano Ronaldo: CR7 has Covid-19!!! After Ibrahimovic, now another soccer superstar is hit by Covid-19. The Portuguese soccer federation disclosed that Cristiano Ronaldo was positive to the coronavirus, but that he was doing well and had no symptoms for the time being.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently with his national team as Portugal was preparing to play against Sweden in the next match scheduled for Wednesday. The Portuguese soccer federation added that he is the only player that tested positive so far. Cristiano Ronaldo was also supposed to play for Juventus in the Italian Serie A game against Lazio over the weekend and will likely going to be missing that game.
Cristiano Ronaldo is probably the most prominent soccer player to have tested positive for Covid-19, although many athletes around the world are increasingly having to come to grips with the coronavirus. The NBA finals were not affected by the coronavirus thanks to the “bubble” concept implemented for the playoffs, but the NFL and now soccer championships around the world appear to be increasingly affected.

All supporters like us hope this will not lead to a halt in games, but it’s hard to tell and we will see how things play out going forward. Funny how Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic, who have always been rivals and don’t particularly get along… maybe because Ibrahimovic said things like “the Brazilian Ronaldo is the only Ronaldo” and that “Messi is the best player in the world” are both having to deal with the virus nearly back to back. Oh well, united in talent and in Covid-19…. We will keep you posted on how this plays out.
