During a recent live chat, the sporting director of PSG mentioned recently that Cristiano Ronaldo may be a football player of the French team if CR7 is willing to move to another club.

Cristiano Ronaldo, currently linked to Juventus until June 2022, could be a future player of PSG since money is not an issue, as all we know, for the French football team. Or, at least, this is the opinion of Leonardo, the sporting director of PSG, who during a live Q&A sessions with the PSG’s fans mention that often footballers decide their future hinting that CR7 would be welcome to Paris. Leonardo’s opinion is reasonable since it is point is, how many teams can afford Cristiano Ronaldo’s economic expectations?

According to the sporting director, no more than seven football teams.
Moving on, Leonardo has also clarified that Thomas Tuchel is and will be the manager of PSG without denying the moments of tensions of the past months. However, it seems that those issues and misunderstandings have been solved and the manager and the directors are perfectly aligned now. Therefore, Thiago Motta, currently the manager of the youth team, is not supposed to replace Tuchel on the main team’s bench any time soon.

In addition, Leonardo addressed few uncertain situations related to PSG’s superstars. Indeed, the contracts of both Neymar and Mbappe’ will expire soon (June 2022) and the renewals do not look that close to occur. Leonardo mentioned that the discussions are in advanced stages and he is positive that both players will renew their contracts soon. According to the sporting directors, both players represent solid pillars for the future of PSG, a team which is built to “impose themselves in the next five years”.

Finally, Leonardo spent few words on Mauro Icardi, the striker purchased from Inter Milan last off-season. Icardi is currently out due to injury but, according to the sporting director, he will come back soon and the team relies on his performance. For the time being, however, PSG is in the hands of Moise Kean. The young Italian player, on loan from Everton, has so far delighted PSG’s fans with great performances. However, Leonardo mentioned that PSG does not have a contractual purchase option to force the transfer of Kean. As such, the future of Kean in Paris is not certain.
