Donald Trump’s Best Friend: Golf!

If you have been paying any attention at all to the presidential election within the United States of America, you know it has been a heated race of Donald Trump versus Joe Biden.

Typically the votes are all completely cast on Tuesday, or Election Day, and the presidency is announced on the following Wednesday. This was not the case this year and caused quite the stir amongst the American people and the President himself, Donald Trump. Instead of knowing the results on Wednesday, the election was not fully decided until Saturday November 7, 2020.

This was something that left the American people in awe as it had hardly happened before. Eventually, Joe Biden was announced to be the winner, but not everyone was paying close attention. Instead of sitting behind his television screen awaiting more news about the results, President Trump was out on the golf course! Trump has been known to golf almost more than any other US President in the history, but everyone needs to blow off some steam every now and then.

Photos were taken as the news was announced, and President Trump either did not hear it yet, or was too focused on his chip shot to pay any attention to the chaos that ensued. Golf is always a great way to blow off steam and get away from the world, but this was certainly an odd time to do so as typically you would give a speech to the American public instead.

Either way it happened, and there is no way to change it now. It would certainly be interesting to see his score that day, or if he will further fight against the outcome. Either way we just hope he enjoyed his golf round!
