The last UFC Fight Night has been a great event. Though there were a lot of decisions in the main card, every fight was a good contest. Jose Aldo has again proved that he still has something in him and he can outclass any fighter in the world. Former UFC featherweight champion was riding a 3-match losing streak and he had a lot of pressure as one more loss could have axed him from the UFC roster, but Jose Aldo made sure that nobody talks about his termination from the promotion.

Many of us had thought that it is going to be an easy victory for Marlon “Chito” Vera (16-7-1) who had taken the zero of Sean O’Malley (12-1-0) earlier this year and looked in great shape but the former Featherweight ruler, Jose Aldo (29-7-0), trashed his ideas with his solid performance and shut down the mouths of his haters. The fight started, and Vera wasted no time attacking Jose Aldo. However, this strategy did not work out well and gave Also a chance to control the fight. Vera, while looking for an early stoppage, put himself in a position where he could not escape from the body shots by Jose Aldo which brought the decisive points to the former UFC feather-weight champion.

The fight gave Jose Also new vibes and a lot of confidence as he expressed his feelings, in the post-fight press conference, saying that he had done a lot of hard work for that fight knowing that he could not lose at all. He went on stating that he has all intention to continue his career with the UFC and wasted no time in calling out T.J. Dillashaw (16-4-0) for a fight saying that he wants to compete against the American star in his next fight and demanded Dana White to make it happen. Jose Aldo has definitely shut the mouths of those who thought he was a fighter with nothing else to say in the MMA world.

Despite in our prediction we were confident that Jose Aldo would have lost against Vera, we are extremely happy for the win of the Brazilian and we truly hope that Aldo will go through a “second youth” starting from his exciting potential next fight against T.J. Dillashaw.
