LaMelo LaFrance Ball is really a man that does it all. From his extreme popularity in high school to his overseas career, LaMelo has always been in the spotlight. For one reason, LaMelo Ball was part of the famous Big Baller Brand that was created by his father and shared among his two brothers.
Through this company, LaMelo LaFrance Ball actually created his own shoe called the MB1. More recently, LaMelo announced that he was signing with the extremely popular Puma clothing brand. With the NBA draft in one week, and the drop of his Puma merchandise, this is certainly another week that will bring him worldwide fame.
To add to all the hype, LaMelo Ball announced over the weekend that he had created his own clothing brand yet again, but this time it was meant to be a designer brand. The company is fittingly named after himself, LaFrance, his middle name. His first designs are black and white t-shirts, hoodies, and socks featuring his name and logo, but they are still extremely expensive. One t-shirt costs seventy dollars, and all it has is his name printed on a breast pocket. The hoodies cost one hundred and twenty dollars, but just contain a large logo on the back. Although the logo does look really cool, it is not worth the price tag.
Since fans have already complained about the prices, LaMelo announced that the prices would be lowering very soon. The entire thing seems like another scheme to make the family some money, as he is really just a basketball player not some clothing designer. Either way, LaMelo is just a young kid trying to make a name for himself in the world, and he has certainly been doing a good job so far. Keep it up LaMelo!
