Other Heavy Liabilities in the Balance Sheet of Inter Milan

1 min read

The business of football is more and more affected by the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. Inter Milan closed the 2019-20 balance sheet with a loss of around Euro 100 million.

Yesterday, the board of directors of Inter Milan club chaired by Steven Zhang gave the go-ahead to last season’s accounts, which will have to be approved by the members’ meeting scheduled for November 27, 2020.

After the losses equal to Euro 48 million in 2018-19, Inter Milan recorded another heavy debt, strongly influenced by the covid-19 pandemic and the consequent collapse in revenues.

Icardi’s capital gain, however, cushioned the blow, considering that other big clubs lost double the amount of Inter Milan such as AC Milan for Euro 195 million and AS Roma Euro 204 million.
