Lionel Messi, Barcelona’s superstar, publicly complained on Instagram on the treatment reserved to his friend and former teammate Luis Suarez. The recently appointed coach of Barcelona has finally addressed the issue.
A couple of days ago, Lionel Messi publicly blasted Barcelona management for forcing Luis Suarez to find a new football team. The Argentinian football superstar vehemently attacked Barcelona for the treatment reserved to a player who spent 6 successful years with the blaugrana team.

Luis Suarez has been asked to leave Barcelona since the new coach, Ronald Koeman, did not see him as part of the team anymore. According to Koeman, the decision has been taken with the consent of Josep Maria Bartomeu, President of Barcelona. Despite the outburst of Lionel Messi was not focus on the decision itself as much as on the way Suarez has been treated, Ronald Koeman decided to addressed the issue directly with the journalist before the match against Villarreal.
“It’s normal that he (Messi) is sad after his friend has left the club, they spent many years side by side. But the important thing is he’s training and playing”. He continued saying that Messi “has been an example to everyone. He is upset but he has shown a lot of enthusiasm since he returned and he’s going to show that on the pitch”.
